Business Associate Agreement
When eBillRCM processes Protected Health Information for covered-entity clients, we serve as a Business Associate. A fully executed BAA is required on both sides before go-live.
Agreement first, then PHI
We do not accept claims files, eligibility extracts, or other PHI until a Business Associate Agreement is fully signed by both parties.
Consistent with HIPAA and HITECH
Our BAA addresses allowed uses and disclosures for payment and healthcare operations, breach notification deadlines, and subcontractor flow-down duties.
SOC 2 Type II safeguards
Administrative, technical, and physical protections run under our SOC 2 Type II program — encryption, access control, audit logging, and workforce training.
Our form or yours
We can begin with eBillRCM's standard BAA or evaluate your organization's template. Substantive terms must satisfy HIPAA Business Associate requirements.
